What is it used for?

Access information on a remote offline PC or other control system
Download files (event log, data files etc.)

Trigger operations remotely
SMS alerts (triggered by the hosting system)

Remote Access can also be made to interface with non PC based control system.

Any type of control system can be connected to the Remote Access device, which will manage and perform all communication tasks and more.

Remote Access is based on GSM communication services GPRS, EDGE, 3G and HSDPA.

All providing TCP/IP based communication to your hardware in the field.

Remote Access requires some integration into its hosting system.

The Remote Access device will be listening for a connection request via SMS or TCP/IP.

The control system for your hardware in the field will be listening for a connection request from the Remote Access device.

PC based control systems will be able to perform a dial-up connection using the Remote Access device as their modem.

Non PC based control systems will trigger the Remote Access device to establish and manage the communication for them.

Connection requests will be delivered to the Remote Access device anywhere in the world.

Due to the roaming capabilities you can have connectivity to your hardware even if it is in transit.
